Imps are unpredictable little creatures. Almost all of them have horns, but that’s where the similarities end. Imps have been found in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Some have been reported as having eyes that shine like a Sun Dragon. Others have been found with eyes that glow in the dark. Some have been reported to have 4 legs, while others are said to have four eyes. It is certainly safe to say that no two Imps are ever alike. One of the most fascinating thing about Imps is that they are very good at scaring away gremlins, closet monsters, dust bunnies and other creatures that go bump in the night.
Some Imps can be real trouble makers if you don’t give them direction. That’s why I have trained a number of them to be Jewelry Guardians. If you need to take your favorite ring off to do dishes or condition polymer clay these Imps will keep it safe from all sorts of imaginary creatures. (Please Note: Imps are notoriously bad at protecting jewelry from real cats. I recommend giving them a post which is out of the cat’s reach.)

[I use marbles as the base and eyes for all of my Imps. I let the properties of the marble guide me towards each Imp's personality. I rarely know what an Imp will look like until after she's finished. This also helps make each Imp unique.]
