Feeding: One of the best thing about Bright Eyed Creatures is that they mostly take care of themselves. Leave them in a bright spot to bask all day, and they’ll be happy little dudes until the end of time. They like to hunt when they’re alone, and they will eat any of imaginary creatures that tend to hang around your house. Gremlins, doldrums and closet monsters are some of their favorite prey.
Care: Fortunately there are only two concerns you need to have about bringing one of my dragons or imps into your home. Water and real live cats.
- Water: Bright Eyed Creatures can get sick if exposed to too much water and humidity. A splash here and there won’t cause much harm, but continuous exposure to moisture will result in a paleness that theyll never recover from. If you choose to give your new friend a perch outside make sure they are protected from the elements. (Perches near saunas and steamy showers can also cause the same illness.)
- Cats: Cats are dangerous because Bright Eyed Creatures are so afraid of cats they freeze and allow themselves to be knocked around. The swat from the cat rarely damages them, but a fall from a great height can result in an injury. The good news is that the damage cause by water, injuries can be fixed with a plastic safe adhesive. (I like Super Glue and Krazy Glue®.)
If surgery is required and you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself, you can send your creature back to me and I will repair or replace him. This service is free for the first 30 days. I only ask that you pay the cost of shipping TO me. I will cover the rest. After 30 days the cost will depend on the size of the repair.
